First lost tooth!!!!
My baby is getting old! A few weeks ago, she was getting her 6 year molars and last night she lost her first tooth!

Aubrey's 5 1/2 :)
Since her birthday is the middle of summer, we brought donuts to her class on January 10th for her half birthday! I was thrilled when her teacher even made her a crown :)
Aubrey's a star!
She is having a fantastic season playing basketball. She is super cute as she runs onto the court with big grins as her fans are cheering for her. She has also improved her skills as she can dribble down the court, shoot, and she scored her FIRST goal two weeks ago! Proud mama here.
But, there is something else that she did that made me overjoyed with my child. Me typing the story doesn't even adequately explain what I saw that brought tears to my eyes that day. I will do my best...
We have a child on the team named Jack. Jack loves playing the game, but rarely gets handed the ball as his skills aren't quite developed in the sport. At one point, Aubs rebounded the ball and started dribbling it down the court. Noticing Jack was open and hadn't touched the ball yet, she passes to him and then runs down to the hoop. Jack was thrilled!!! He dribbled twice, got the ball stolen by the other team, but it made his day.
What was amazing is EVERY other kid at age 5 playing basketball HATES to give up the ball. They dribble all the way down, shoot, try to rebound, etc. There is no passing. Except for my girl. That day I learned how kind, compassionate my kid is. She has a heart for others and I was so proud she let God's love shine through her. May God continue to use her to bless others for the rest of her life.
