What have we been doing since school started?!

Aubrey wanted to be a witch for Halloween! She said she was tired of being princesses and wanted to go to the other side! Oh my?!

Here is her new Daisy Girl Scout Troop! And in order to spend more time with her, I am the leader. :)

Aubrey painted this for the school reflection program. The theme was "Believe, Dream, Inspire". She is dreaming of being a teacher and she believes she can because her mom inspired her.

This is her first grade teacher, Mrs. Walter. We heart Mrs. Walter! :)

Aubs and me enjoying a beautiful Fall Saturday!

The annual pumpkin patch trip!

My little swimmer! She placed 2nd in the backstroke at her first swim meet!

2013 Minnesota Top 10

This list is turning into quite the tradition, but I love to use it to highlight events in our adventures to the Great UP North! Without further adieu....

10. Gardening with Auntie Donna-I was worried Aubs wasn't going to have enough to do, but boy was I wrong! She played, observed, wandered, ooohhhhed and ahhhed over the gardens AND made her very own "fairy" garden!!!

9. Seeing my friends Kirk, Chuck, Elsa and Jacqueline-TWICE!!!

8. Hanging with my sister and cousin Amy, but really modeling the Team Cousin group to Isla, Aubs and Ashlin! ;)

7. Aubs developing her artistic talent with her very own Omie guiding and shaping her!!! THANK YOU MOM for loving my baby in that way. What a great relationship you two have because of it!

6. Spending time with the WHOLE family down at Canal Park :)

5. Watching Aubs independently play in the backyard, which includes caring for tadpoles with great intensity, rock climbing around the pond, riding the 4-wheeler, and swinging.

4. Surprising my dad with a 60th Birthday party, kinda!!!

3. Going to Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi River. What a great experience!

2. Learning that my daughter is an AVID rock climber after visiting yet another rock climbing place, Gooseberry Falls. :)

2. We got to spend lots of quality time with these girls!!! Love them :)

BTW, here are previous year's posts...

Biking Pt. 3 and Jamestown Settlement

We ventured off on another bike ride yesterday on the Colonial Trail :) We only did 4 miles, but it was so far the best trail we've biked! Here are some photos...
Heading out..
Checking out wildlife: we saw deer, a skink, a caterpillar, fish skeletons, horses, butterflies, and dragonflies.
We biked the Greensprings portion of the trial.
After our bike ride, we headed over to the Jamestown Settlement. SUPER FUN and we can't wait to take Omie and Grandpa here!!!

She was very excited to see the ships!

And the hot, busy day just wouldn't be complete without a visit to the pool!
