Poisonous Snakes

One of Aubrey's new favorite things is, yep, poisonous snakes AND she does not care about the non-venomous ones. So we researched them on the internet, found the top 10, and watched videos of them. That night her favorites were the King Cobra, Rattlesnake, and the Copperhead. She learned lots and I learned that I never want to visit Australia because that is where at least 60% of them live!!!

Later that night we read a Zoobook magazine about rattlesnakes and came across this picture...

As I saw it, I thought "Gosh, that's a little scary. Hope that doesn't give her nightmares!" Just as I finished thinking that, she said, "Man, I hope I don't have any scary dreams about THAT picture!!!"

Great minds think alike OR you could say, like mother, like daughter. :)

Ps She didn't. Instead she dreamed about being in a roller skating contest and she won. I was there, but she beat me too!

Pss She is now switching her Belle 5th Princess Birthday party to a Rattlesnake theme. Previously it was lions, so we'll see what she eventually sticks too.
