Haircutting
I cut Aubrey's bangs last night and by the end of it she was over the scissors. Early this morning, I wanted to trim them up in new light. Aubrey shook her head and said, "They're fine. They're fine!" and walked away! So grown for a 2 year old:)

Aubrey at school? Isn't she a bit young?
My parents brought Aubrey to school to meet all of my great students! It was so much fun. It was also embarrassing as my mother took a picture of me (30 years old) at the bus stop in front of ALL of my new teacher colleagues! I about died and forced her to put her camera away!!! Here is the only ONE she got...
Aubrey also enjoyed working at school as you can see below. She kept telling everyone that "I have to do my work. Let me do my work."
Suitcases and Grandpas
My buff little girl decided that she wanted to roll Omie's suitcase to the car from baggage claim. After a while, it got heavy so she let grandpa help her. Grandpa proceeded to help her by rolling Omie's suitcase as well as his own. Aubrey, however, still wanted to haul Omie's suitcase so she looked back at him and said, "Grandpa, you have your own suitcase!" and took Omie's BACK!
P.S. We were ALL (everyone in the airport including us!) that she could even haul Omie's suitcase around!

Counting with Aubrey
Aubrey has learned how to count, at least say the words, all the way to 10. I am pretty sure she doesn't have 1 to 1 correspondance, but it cute to hear her actually count.
On the way home today, she was counting...not sure what...but I hear, "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, fourteen, eleventeen" and then she just kept saying, "fourteen, eleventeen" over and over. When I tried to tell her about eleven not being a teen she said, "You can't count!"

Uncle Griff
At least once a week we Skype with Omie and Grandpa and Aunny Enny. It is so fun to be able to see Aubrey interact with her family via the computer.
Even though Aubrey has plenty of people to talk to, she always asks where Uncle Griff is. He is usually at work so Aunny Enny will tell her that and Aubrey says, "Otay."
Later that night, we were laying in bed saying our prayers and thanking God for all of the wonderful people in our lives. Aubrey says, "Thank you God for Uncle Griff," and then asks, "Where did Uncle Griff go?" I told her, "He's at work." She responds with, "At work. That's nice." :)
